State Lemon Laws
Most states have passed laws to protect consumers who buy cars with significant defects. For a car to be considered a "lemon," which of these must apply?
- The car must have been repaired several times for the same defect.
- Even with repair the defect hasn't been resolved.
- The defect must substantially affect the car's safety or ability to be driven.
