Pros and Cons of Buying a New Car
Prior to car shopping, it helps to consider if you need a new or a used car. Both new and used vehicles come with benefits and drawbacks. Which of these is NOT an advantage of buying something new?
- New vehicles are often more reliable.
- The value of a new car usually depreciates slower.
- When you buy a new car, it's easier to customize and get exactly what you want.
"B" is correct. New cars generally lose their value faster than older ones. They also cost more -- not just in terms of price, but also to register and insure. On the positive side, new cars also often include a manufacturer's warranty that could save you money on parts and repairs for many years.
